Our life is a succession of moments. Some disappear, some become memories you never want to let go of. There is beauty all around us, in the smallest things like a sparkly raindrop, a lover’s embrace, your baby’s tiny hand wrapping around your finger, holding on tight.
My camera is one of my greatest teachers, telling me to slow down and stay in the present, to document what is important, showing me what the meaning of life is through its viewfinder.
When we travel (the mountains have my heart), the most treasured souvenirs we bring back are the photos from our adventures. When we get lost in the routines of our everyday life, I know it’s time to stop and notice, and pick up the camera to capture the seemingly mundane things, because I am so very aware that my little boy is never going to be this little again.
I live on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia, and I am inspired by its abundant beauty every single day.
I would be honoured to capture the treasured moments of your life.
Beautifully written as always. And such a sweet, emotive photo. I can feel the love
