South Coasting

“As you sit on the hillside, or lie prone under the trees of the forest, or sprawl wet-legged by a mountain stream, the great door that does not look like a door, opens”

Stephen Graham

We have been coming to the South Coast for many years now, after falling in love with the green rolling hills, the long stretch of Seven Mile beach, winding mountain roads, crystal waterfalls, general peacefulness, and cherry pies from Robertson pie shop. It only takes you two hours to get there from Sydney, so no excuses for not doing that drive more often!

So last Sunday we made tuna sandwiches, packed a couple of hot cross buns and apples, and headed towards Kiama. And here is what we saw there:
If you have never been to that magical part of NSW, please go soon and feel that freedom and  peace that is so hard to find these days in our busy city lives.
