Change of Seasons

Summer for me means watching the sunset from our balcony every weeknight after I come home from work. La Nina made our summer wet and cool but she also brought out the best sunsets to compensate for the general miserableness many of us suffered from over the last few months. Which for me meant spending even more time outside watching the splashed reds and pinks and orange tones. And since I am addicted to Instagram many of those gorgeous sunsets made it to my Instagram feed.

Tomorrow morning daylight saving ends. It means that for the next six months when I come back home from work it will be pitch-black outside. No more sunsets except on weekends. I love autumn,  but I will miss witnessing the show that Mother Nature puts on for us every night.
